The Modig IM series has a patented design with options for single spindle inverted machines (with Mill-Turn option) or multi spindles, including the duo-spindle or quadri four-spindle inverted machining centre.
How do Modig inverted machines optimise chip handling?
Machining centres that work inverted means easier chip evacuation with less consumption of coolant. The gravity makes the chips fall with a natural flow from the work piece and the working area. The stability of the inverted machining centres, together with the excellent optimised chip handling system delivers higher performance.
REPRESENTATION UPDATE:
