Streaming live, the MODIG RigiMill MT (Moving Table model) reduced the cycle time by 59% removing chips in only 26 minutes.

Modig new facility for increasing demand
September 2019: MODIG created a new facility in Kalmar, Sweden to cope with the increase in demand for its new RigiMill and popular HHV machines for aluminum stringers. MODIG Chip Removal Record 2017
In 2017 Modig hosted an open house to showcase their machine portfolio including machining tests of wing ribs on the RigiMill, a world leader rigid compact gantry. MODIG achieved a world record cubic of 1,000 cubic inches in chip removal rate, beating the previous record that stood at 850 cubic inches.
